JCPL is a member of the eIndiana Digital Consortium, giving our customers access to over 40,000 ebooks and audiobooks for their computers and mobile devices. With the "Want It Now" service, customers who don't want to wait in line or are interested in items that haven't been purchased yet can click the "Buy It Now" button to purchase their own copy of the ebook or audiobook to enjoy permanently. By doing so, a small percentage of the total purchase price is given back to the consortium so more titles can be purchased for customers.
