The Jackson County Public Library’s Build a Better World summer reading program is June 1 – July 31 at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries and on the Discovery Bus. The summer reading program is free and open to all ages, newborn through adult.
Participants may sign up online at home or at the library at the Build a Better World homepage. We’ll have extra computers setup just to register so you shouldn’t have too long to wait.
This year we’ve greatly simplified our online portion of the program – just register and you’re done! No usernames or passwords to remember and no logging back in to track time – just register on the webpage (at home or the library) and pick up your gift bag!
Whether engaging with staff, or attending one of our many programs through the summer you’ll be getting prize slips that you can enter into several different drawings. Each week we’ll be giving away a book for different reading levels – teen, adult, and three age levels of children’s – plus a grand prize drawing at the end of the program. Risk them all every week or save every ticket for the last grand prize drawing, it’s up to you!
Your gift bag will contain several coupons as well as a calendar of events for you to win tickets and a Bingo card to win even more tickets! Keep coming into the library and talking with staff to maximize your chances to win.
