CIRCULATION ASSISTANT
The library is taking applications for a permanent part-time library assistant at the Checkout Desks.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, driver’s license with a good driving record, and technology skills. Prior customer service experience a plus!
Possible scheduled hours for an average of 28 hours per week:
· Monday 9 am to 5 pm (7.5 hours)
· Tuesday 10 am to 7 pm (8 hours)
· Wednesday 9 am to 3 pm (6 hours)
· Thursday 11:30 am to 6 pm (Medora – 6.5 hours)
· Every other Saturday 9 am to 1:30 pm (4.5 hours)
Responsibilities: assisting customers, computer data entry, opening and closing duties, and various clerical assignments at the Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora libraries.
Salary: $15.50/hour.
Benefits: Immediate paid holidays if scheduled. Pro-rated vacation, personal, and sick days after six months.

YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAM SPECIALIST
The Library is taking applications for a permanent part-time Youth Services Program Specialist for the Seymour Library.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma
Good technology, customer service, organizational, and clerical skills required
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive
Experience with and a love for children
Driver’s license with a good driving record
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and conducting children’s programs, shelving children’s materials, and assisting at the Kids Room help desk.
Schedule averaging 28 hours/week includes daytime, evening, and Saturday hours:
Week One:
Monday 10 am to 7 pm
Tuesday 10 am to 7 pm
Wednesday 9 am to 1 pm
Friday 9 am to 6 pm
Week Two:
Monday 10 am to 7 pm
Tuesday 10 am to 7 pm
Wednesday 9 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday 9 am to 1:30 pm
SALARY: $17/hour.
