Get ready for November book discussions!


Books are available now at all JCPL check out desks for November book discussions!

Our newest book discussion group, Book’s Night Out, will meet at Buffet China in Seymour at 7 pm on Friday, November 13.  Over a meal, the group will discuss Bad Monkey by Carl Hiaasen.  Please register for this discussion at www.myjclibrary.org/events or by calling 812-523-INFO (4636).

On Wednesday, November 18, Books By Night will meet in the Seymour Library Meeting Room at 6 pm.  Led by volunteer Tim Decker, this group will discuss Middle Passage by Charles Johnson.  This group regularly meets bi-monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month, but is meeting a week early due to Thanksgiving.

Also on November 18 at 6 pm, Ordinary People by Judith Guest will be discussed at the Crothersville Library.

Fantastic Fiction will meet in the Seymour Library Meeting Room at 11 am on Friday, November 20.  They will discuss At Home in Mitford by Jan Karon, with the discussion led by volunteers Ann Schwein and Sharon Kamman.

The Medora Book Discussion will be held on Monday, November 23 at 6 pm.  They will discuss A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash.
