Come to this informational meeting about what the future plans are for TAG. Only those who have turned in an application and have had a parent/guardian sign it will be allowed to attend the meeting. Grades 6-12 only. The meeting will be held in the Seymour Library’s Meeting Room.

April 20 Earth Day Program                     Register

Bring in a clean, recyclable item such as a milk jug, soup can, or a glass bottle and make it into a treasure with craft supplies provided. Sign-up is preferred.

May 4Star Wars Day – May the Fourth be With You

4:30 pm – 6:45 pm

Settle in on this Star Wars day with popcorn and a drink as we show the 1980 version of the film with newly-added scences that were added to the movie in 1997. This film is roughly two hours long. Teen fans of the movies and teens who have not seen any of the movies are invited to attend.

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Have you ever wanted to see what the inside of a CPU look likes like, and what the different parts are that make up one? Learn these things by using different tools to take apart the computer. Registration is preferred.

Using clear CD cases and wax string, learn how to make your very own maze game! Registration is required.

How will circuits be assembled to make a creation that will prank your friends when you shake their hand? Using magnetic electronics that snap together in a variety of different ways, be amazed at what you can create!

How will bananas be used to create bongos? Can vegetables really be used to play the piano? Find out in this interesting makerspace program using everyday objects to play instruments.

July 25 – Settle in with popcorn and a drink as we show X-Men: Days of Future Past to go along with our summer reading program theme “Every Hero Has a Story.”
