To kick off November as National Novel Writing Month, join other local writers in the Seymour Library Meeting Room from 2-3:30 pm on Sunday, November 1. Information Services Assistant and published author Kathi Linz will be available for inspiration and cheerleading. Registration is not required. Just drop in! Bring laptop, paper and pencil, or whatever you need to write. Snacks will be provided.
According to the National Novel Writing Month website, http://nanowrimo.org, the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing.
On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30.
Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.
